The camera that my mom got this Christmas is very good for how small it is, and it takes great pictures. It also has a good zoom, but we were all especially amazed at the filming.

We were riding bikes on the C&O towpath (Potomac River on our left, Virginia is across the river), and our mom decided to film with her camera just to see how well it performed. The C&O towpath is a dirt trail, and it’s not what you would call smooth, so while she was filming the camera was jerking around. However, when we watched the video, it was not very bumpy at all. It looked really smooth.

See what you think…. If you’re interested in seeing what this camera looks like, you can see it in our entry “Three Hundred Sixty-Four Days“.

UPDATE: John and I went back and re-watched the video and we realized that the quality is very bad. We think it may have something to do with WordPress though, because the video on our computer is high quality. I’m not sure why that happened, but we just wanted to let you know that the bad quality in the video above is not the camera’s fault.
